...Any averagely intelligent person can learn almost any topic up to a high level if there's someone there to help with the little mental roadblocks that come up along the way. I favor a Socratic approach, asking a lot of questions (most of them easy) and doing small, simple exercises so you come to the solution mostly on your own.
