...My basic approach to tutoring is to pinpoint why a student is struggling. For many students, it is due to not having a full grasp of the fundamental concepts. I would break up complex problems into understandable parts to help students discover these central patterns and concepts, which becomes one of those "a-ha!" moments for students. (read more)
