...Past students of mine have gone from reading CVC words (cat, bat, hat, etc.) to reading novels within the space of just a year. As a special education teacher, it is very important to teach study skills for reading, math, and spelling as many children with learning difficulties have memory issues and need to learn techniques to use ro retain information.
