...I prefer to have the student bring the actual homework problems they’re working on, then we go through them step by step so they make sense. I adapt to my student. Maybe we go slower on this step, maybe we speed through that part, maybe we just stop the problem and review some forgotten concept... (read more)
...I have excelled at math all my life. I have been tutoring independently for the last 10 years and have never met a student that I could not help better their grade to an A or a B. ...I learned to love teaching others as it is fulfilling to see results of your work. I fell in love with helping students understand the reasons behind formulas, not just memorizing the formulas.
