My senior year, I won the Golden Gavel award for the state of Texas, which is given to the student with the highest public speaking points. During my college years, I worked as an assistant coach and mentor to students on several debate teams and went on to judge local speech and debate competitions. (read more)

...Not everyone learns the same! For instance, virtual lessons with 3rd graders requires more hands-on at-home activities to really help then visually understand concepts. On the other hand, going through different bacteria species with a microbiology student in college will require some charts and fun diagrams I have made. (read more)
