It all started with me being very poor at algebra in high school. I struggled a lot, till I got an excellent tutor who kept using different approaches to get the information across till we found the right one. I ended up loving my arch nemesis (math) so much that I went on to get a 730 out of 800 in my SAT math and I've used the same approaches taught to me to help struggling students. (read more)

I spent five months living in Valencia, Spain with a host family that did not speak any English, while taking literature, culture, and art classes at the University of Valencia. ...I teach beginning classical guitar, building on the basics to make a firm foundation for any future style. Students start with note reading skill and, playing technique, growing into chords over time.
