I am a published author. The doctorate program I am currently in requires that students learn the materials of each course through intensive writing instead of memorization for tests. As a matter of fact, we submit two discussion posts per week, each one has to be at least 400 words, not including article citations and a 3-5 page report, then a 10-12 page report in the last week of the course.
