...Almost invariably they have experienced a "hurdle" in their efforts to gain math proficiency. Some encountered it very early and others experienced it much later. The important thing was that the hurdle was not mounted, but meanwhile the rest of their class moved rapidly onward leaving them floundering in the lurch. (read more)
...There are a number of different ways to teach someone how to study. The best way to do this is to talk to them and see which way they think would work best for them and then try a couple of different styles. They may need to use different methods for different subjects but repetition is always the best way to go. (read more)
