...When I was going to school in Portland, I realized that I truly enjoyed teaching students the basics, but also helping them with subjects that were a bit more difficult. Specifically, I enjoyed teaching students about science, writing, and spelling. I student taught 5th grade for 4 months and 3rd graders for a year and a half as I was learning to become a teacher.
