...When I substitute in a classroom, I often tell students that students their age in other countries are required to learn English, and in our country they do not experience the challenge students in other countries do. Learning grammar is part of their growth as a person. A lot of students feel outside pressures without a real understanding of what it means to be true to themselves. (read more)
...I began with majoring in early childhood and elementary education. However, within one year of college, I realized that I had a calling for helping the kids that struggle so I changed my major to elementary education and special education in grades 1-6!
