...If such communication doesn't make sense, what's the point? A Master's Degree in education and plenty of experience teaching writing (composition) insures that a student will get useful help developing winning strategies for producing clear, concise written communication. ...Math is hard, but it can be explained in a way that doesn't just make it understandable, but also tolerable to learn. In undergrad, I tutored in a tutoring center, and also privately, and I never ran into a student I couldn't teach. My attitude for math is what I believe makes me a great tutor. (read more)
