I've been tutoring since I was in college. I would tutor all kinds of students in computer-related subjects because I always felt that if I was able to explain it properly, it would give me a better understanding. But most importantly, I tutor because I love helping others. (read more)

I took a series of classes at Caltech in discrete math, which were some of the best classes I had there because they covered such a range of topics, including logic, combinatorics, and number theory. ...I find the most impactful way to help students and improve their ability is taking them from a complete memorization approach to a more intuitive way of solving problems. I like to employ ways of checking if the steps you made for a problem make sense.
