...In this class, I developed my method of tutoring which includes both socratic techniques, as well as mnemonic and evidence based recall strategies. I took this same method into my approach for studying for the MCAT. I was able to achieve a 520 (97th percentile) and 99th% in chemistry, biology, and psychology sections. (read more)
...I graduated college in Japan and I have licenses of following: Kindergarten teacher, Elementary school teacher, Japanese Flower Arrangement teacher and Japanese Tea Ceremony teacher. When I lived in Japan I taught Japanese, Math and English. After I moved to New Mexico, I used to teach Japanese Language at elementary school as after school program and also at my house. A majority of my experience tutoring has been one on one with a student, but I also have some experience teaching 2-3 students together.
