...While I work with students, I form a connection as I assess each student's current level. I meet students at their level and work from there, using modeling and supported practice until each student is comfortable. Next, I step back, giving more responsibility to the student, but still guiding as needed. (read more)
I have a bachelor's degree in English and music from Carroll University in Waukesha Wisconsin. I also have a TESOL teaching certificate and a Master's degree in linguistics from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I'm currently finishing my PhD in linguistics. I also speak Spanish. (read more)
