In order to get there youth need a safe comfortable environment in which to learn without judgment. When it comes to math I teach not only how to get the right answers, but also why the answer is right and how to check their work so they know come test day if they've made any small errors. Evan always had a knack for tests. He taught himself to take the SAT and SAT II subject tests in high school and four years later graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University. After completing an MPH in Paris, he returned to New York City for medical school at Mount Sinai, where he honored all his clerkships and scored in the 99th percentile on the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2. ...Since starting graduate school in 1968, I have taught public speaking. I taught the subject to 8th graders, company presidents, middle managers, and college freshmen.
