...In my experience, tutoring is most effective by starting with a quick 5-10 minute overview of the theory of a topic then jumping into applying it to solve problems. My tutoring sessions emphasize helping you solve problems so that the theory and the solutions come together and things begin to click. And hopefully, you begin to enjoy the subjects as much as I do. I liked this class because it covers many aspects of ODEs while also introducing interesting topics like PDEs, Laplace and Fourier Transforms, etc. During my senior year, I took an in-depth class on partial differential equations, and I continued my study of differential equations in grad school.
