I started tutoring in high school when my math teacher discovered the reason I talked during class. He realized that oftentimes I would be explaining the current or prior topic to classmates that had a harder time getting their heads around it. From then on I'd spend my free/spare hours sitting in the math department office tutoring anyone that wanted to come in. (read more)
