...There I taught Algebra I and Precalculus before continuing my mathematics education at graduate school. For 5 long years, I studied mathematics and learned as much as I could. And while I enjoyed learning more mathematics, I really appreciated the time I spent teaching, so much so that I spent hours creating extra resources for my calculus, differential equations and linear algebra classes. ...I attained my B.S. in physics and mathematics from the University of Mississippi, graduating summa cum laude. In addition to taking 4 classes on calculus and analytical geometry, I also took a proof-based calculus class. Teaching my students the foundations of these proofs better helps their understanding of course material. (read more)
