...There is a story of a Math tutor (not me) who tutored a student only by telling him that he could do each problem without telling him anything more. Each time the tutor said "you can do this", the student was able to do the problem. The issue here was the student had a complete lack of confidence that prevented him from thinking clearly when confronted with a Math problem. (read more)
