...Rather than act like a teacher, I like to get to know the students I'm helping and treat our lessons in a much more casual way. I teach topics in the way that I understand them, go over practice problems and encourage lots of questions. I usually suggest some problems to do between sessions, and am always available to chat and answer questions outside of the scheduled meeting time. (read more)
