I've carefully looked at every single written test, published or unpublished, since that time. ...These elements - GUP - in isolation are fun to learn; once mastered, they improve anybody's writing clarity, and with practice, style. Over the years, I've done both: taught the 3 elements in isolation, especially as prep for SAT or ACT exams, and in composition. I love looking at a student's written work and teaching grammar in that context. (read more)
