...I am a tutor of Physics and STEM at Piedmont Virginia Community College. As a private tutor in Physics, I guided a 17-year-old boy in using the scientific method to investigate position, velocity, and acceleration of a Pinewood Derby car rolling down a ramp. We explored trigonometry, built a wooden ramp, designed one- and two-point timers, fabricated those timers, and conducted experiments. (read more)
