...While we want ESL/ESOL learners to understand the proper grammar and sentence structure, it is also important that they know what some common cliques or expressions mean. Things they may hear or read, but are slang, and have a different meaning. English does have its roots in Latin, the same as Spanish, Italian and French, so understanding some words may come more easily. (read more)
