...Teaching Style: I work well with students who are truly interested in learning the material. I find that I learn best when I understand where an equation came from and why it makes sense, so I teach my students the same way. Having a student memorize an equation will not help them to be better problem solvers or learn when to apply the appropriate methods in different problem types. (read more)
