...This is how I like to approach my lessons for my students: Make the world sound exciting! My favorite subject is Genetics, because I love learning (and explaining) how a small molecule (DNA) can create the diverse forms of life we see, and continue to discover, on Earth, even though we only use 4 bases to create said life. ...I have taught science courses at the high school level in Charlotte, NC for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. These have included Physical Science with a heavy Chemistry focus, Earth and Environmental Science, and Forensic Science. I have a Master of Science but am always learning- at the collegiate level, I stay fresh in Science by taking at least one course, even in the summer. (read more)
