...It took me two months to refresh my memory. I could remember solving a system of linear equations by elimination but could not remember solving a system of linear equations by substitution. I could remember the slope intercept method of expressing and equation but not the point slope form. (read more)

Primary research, the finding of first-hand documents, is another key, so my library work is very handy.
