...It was here at UCLA that he got his first good dose of conversational French. This continued, as he has been married to his French-Canadian wife since the age of 25, bringing a whole host of French-speaking relatives with whom to practice. ...The groups are combined 3rd through 8th grade. The best part of this experience is that I have become adept at catching on quickly to how a child learns; whether they are auditory, visual, kinesthetic, etc. Some students need repeated exposure to the material; others want to only be shown once. ...I have taught chemistry, physics and earth science, and algebra. I presently teach AP statistics and tutor other mathematics courses on a part-time basis as I enjoy teaching. I prefer to tutor in the mathematics field, and in my classroom in Turlock as this makes a whiteboard and the Fathom interactive instruction programs available for tutoring. (read more)
