...On the other hand, the sequence of pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry & Algebra 2 exists for a reason. Geometry uses concepts and approaches used in Algebra 1, & Algebra 2 uses techniques that are enhanced by a thorough understanding of Geometry. (Imaginary numbers produce curves that don't intersect w/ the X axis. Above all, DON'T rely on a calculator when mental math would be faster. (read more)
