...Often they read short stories such as The Lady and the Tiger, or contemporary shorter novels such as The Outsiders. I've helped several students with their summer reading of a novel with a rather complex structure, Whirligig. In high school, they reinforce their understanding of literature by reading novels and plays, such as Great Expectations, and Romeo and Juliet. (read more)

I am also Chief of Emergency Medical Services at Ursinus College, a position that has required me to teach and train Emergency Medical Technicians, giving me experience with both in-classroom and hands-on teaching.
