...While the test is certainly checking for content knowledge, it also checks for a certain level of ability to manipulate the material. Also, you aren't necessarily just looking for 'x'. You could be looking for 'x + y' without knowing, or needing to know, the value of each. (read more)
...I've had several students enter my classes "disliking math" and end up exiting "loving math." Through differentiated instruction and lots of enthusiasm, I’ve helped multiple students increase their comprehension and confidence in their subject matter.
