When tutoring nursing students, I would speak the major topics off the top of my head because it would have been something I studied prior to the meeting. ...My favorite part of teaching was office hours, where one to three students came to my office and we were able to focus on what they were struggling with. Teaching in this one on one or small group setting was much more enjoyable for me and educational for the students. I typically ask questions of my students so I can identify what their understanding is and what I can help with. (read more)
