...This is what inspired me to want to teach: there are few things more satisfying than when a student achieves a goal of understanding a concept they struggled with. My favored teaching approach is the "I do, we do, you do" method. I feel it helps to first show students how to approach a problem and go through the steps together before having them attempt alone.
