...I believe it is best to tutor one-on-one with a peer-to-peer approach. I like to talk to those I teach with respect just like I would one of my classmates. ...There I tutored college students with learning disabilities. This was on a one-on-one and in-person. The method used was to discuss the current topic and work through problems, while helping the student understand both the question asked and the approach needed to find the answer. (read more)
I have a specialization in teaching English as a Second Language and a Bachelor's in Intercultural Studies. This degree required a two month internship in West Africa and a 70 hour practicum teaching English at Carthage Middle School.
