I taught in a private high school in PA and then a public high school in VA before I became a stay-at-home mom to my three children. I started tutoring for extra income and liked it so much I never went back to full time teaching. ...During my junior and senior years of college I lived in the Spanish House, a living learning environment whose residents all spoke Spanish and helped one another learn vocabulary, grammar, and culture. I have also used Spanish to a great extent outside of the classroom. I spent the summer of 2015 doing an internship in economic development in rural Peru, relying on Spanish on a daily basis.
