...When helping students, I realize that all students have different learning styles, and my teaching adapts to each student. During every lesson I will first go over any initial questions a student may have before proceeding with a lesson. ...I have been helping students prepare for the PSAT for the past 15 years. I find that more and more elementary schools are dropping spelling as a subject, and as a result, I added spelling to my list of tutoring subjects 2 years ago. I use a curriculum that builds on basic phonetic rules, noting exceptions to those rules as they occur. (read more)
