If I had one piece of advice for precalc students, it would be: at least master the easy cases. If you can't remember laws of logarithms, at least memorize that the (base 10) log of 1 = 0, the log of 10 = 1, the log of 100 = 2, the log of 1000 = 3, etc. (read more)
