I am a 2nd-year at the University of California, Los Angeles, majoring in Computational and Systems Biology with a concentration in Biological Data Sciences. ...I graduated from Harvard with a degree in Applied Math. I remember taking Algebra and starting to fall in love with math - it's such a foundational subject. If you want your child to be set up well for high school math, it's very important they have strong Algebra skills. (read more)
