I scored a nearly perfect score on the SAT Reading when I took it in high school. I earned my Bachelors in environmental science from Yale and have experience working in environmental nonprofits. ...I scored a 33 on the Reading section of the ACT and a 31 on the English section. I am an avid reader and writer, and I am familiar with teaching many elements of the English language including vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing. My approach is to offer encouragement and be non-judgmental while giving students the things they need so they can help themselves.
