...After graduating high school with honors (Magna Cum Laude), I attended college to become a teacher. In college, I made the Dean’s List on multiple occasions and was a social chairperson for Kappa Delta Pi, an honor society for educators. ...After that, I began teaching Physics courses at Lamar Institute of Technology, as well as tutoring in their learning lab. Soon, I was asked to also adjunct teach at Lamar State College-Port Arthur. That quickly became a full-time job, where I worked as a professor teaching developmental math subjects. (read more)
My tutoring experience comes from many places. First I directed and tutored in my own 501 c 3 nonprofit after-school and all day summer program in the Atlanta Metropolitan area for 15 years. I taught elementary school children to read and tutored elementary and middle school students in all subjects with math emphasis. (read more)
