Another Honors ADHD student was failing Chemistry and Geometry when he started tutoring with me and ended up with A's in both classes. Recently an ADHD Algebra student who was failing started with me mid semester, passed the EOC, and got a C in the class. (read more)
I cherish every student, but I don’t necessarily want to build a long-term relationship with them. At the cost of tutoring, that is not a good deal for everyone. I will quickly fill in the gaps, get you caught up, and teach you how to deal with new concepts on your own. (read more)
...Tutoring provides another voice for students to hear, and possibly a fresh perspective. Sometimes I find that students who do not connect with their teachers well might benefit from tutoring, and that is not a reflection of the teacher.
