...I technically majored in "psychology (life science option)," but only because there were too many math courses (trigonometry, calculus, etc.) in a biology degree. The actual biology subjects I had no problem with. As a social science major (psychology), I had to write many research papers in many different formats, including experiments, literature reviews, argumentative essays, and more. (read more)
...Another important aspect that I always focus on with each and every student is building their self-esteem, as I incorporate that right into the lessons that I teach. Additionally, I have taught students that have ranged from kindergarten to 12th grade. Also, I have taught in all subject areas, as my greatest strengths are in reading, math, and writing.
