...As a tutor, I try to be flexible and tailor my sessions to the needs of each student. Every person learns differently, and I think it’s highly important to be able to adapt to a person’s learning style. Some students do better with rigid instruction; others gravitate toward independent exploration, or even learning through gameplay! (read more)
I've found one-on-one sessions as the most effective way to learn math. I can diagnose and address deficiencies that would otherwise go undetected in a standard classroom environment. I explain the material so the student can learn through understanding. (read more)
