...Once I moved back from St. Lawrence Island I accepted a position at Ridgeland High School, where I currently am teaching tenth grade English and Composition. Both of the schools that I have taught at have been low performing and in both cases I have been able to raise the scores of students in the content of English. (read more)
...I am currently pursuing a bachelor of science degree in education, I plan on going further and getting a degree working with special needs children. I have worked with my own children in special education and know the rights of those children like the back of my hand. ...Nobody else qualifies to be in these classes. The only reason they are special enough to be in the classes is because they have a very unique way of learning and when they figure out exactly what that way is, they are to take that and run with it. See, special kids can be anything they set their heads to be ......they just have to set that goal and reach for it. (read more)
