...I would play with him in order to help him see how he was supposed to use his hands and to hear how notes should sound. I would also have him play by himself and ask him to repeat and do things over to help with muscle memory. I was a little more strict with him because music is not easy to learn and requires a lot of practice and cooperation and time to be successful with it. (read more)
