...I have been teaching Math for 5 years now, going from 6th grade math all the way up to graduate-school level Abstract Algebra and Theoretical Math. I have been successful in teaching Trigonometry to many students. Been tutoring students in SATs and ACTs, for both Math and Reading, for the past 4 years and have posted 300 to 400 point increases on average. (read more)
...Effective writing skills are a necessity in my profession, as are teaching skills. I prioritize working with students one-on-one to make sure that they attain the skills they are seeking. I scored in the 99th percentile on the Reading and Writing portions of the SAT, as well as on the Analytical Writing and Verbal Reasoning sections of the GRE. (read more)
...As such, I was able to use my past methods for overcoming obstacles to address my students' frustrations. Through this, I found that helping others work through their frustrations was incredibly rewarding, and this has pushed me towards teaching and tutoring.
