...SAT/ACT math is difficult because of the of topics that it covers, not the depth. Mistakes often happen when students are not sure about the content of that particular question. It’s wrong to treat SAT as a trick test and try to game it by spending time to learn empty “technique” commonly found on SAT-prep books. (read more)

...When students are having trouble in Algebra I, they’re usually having trouble dealing with abstract concepts and/or pre-algebra material. For abstractness issues, I explain concepts in concrete terms the students can understand.
