For more than thirty years, I taught elementary school as a full-time, part-time and substitute teacher in three states. ...It is extremely gratifying to me when a student makes a breakthrough in a subject and really begins to understand it. When working with students, I always try to adapt the lessons to their interests in order to keep them engaged.
