...It's one thing to explain something properly - another to explain it in a way which can be absorbed by the person being taught. Explaining lessons in a way which can be readily absorbed by the student; the ability to be patient; and perhaps most of all, with regards to Math, giving real world comparisons and scenarios, so a student can see why/how Math is used.
