...I calculate everything in my head from miles per gallon, time saved by incremental increases in speed driven and unit prices when shopping. It's fun and useful and I know how to teach the practical side of math, which then helps kids understand their algebraic concepts better. ...I started out high school in the southern end, went to West Chester University in the Pre-Med program with hopes of becoming a doctor. I very much enjoyed Chemistry and biology, cellular physiology, physics and such courses, but through several years of classes learned that math was my true passion.
