...Pre-Algebra is the term for all those pieces of mathematics you need to know to function comfortably in Algebra and Geometry. It includes using negative numbers, percents, fractions, decimals, number line work, and increased skill using word problems. Geometry is taken to a higher level - an often overlooked but essential middle school skill. (read more)
...As a teacher, I expect my students to accept challenges, make mistakes, and learn from their mistakes. Mathematics plays such a critical in our lives and learning mathematics helps strengthen our logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. I believe with a growth mindset these skills can improve.
